Default Arlington Texas plant

Can someone verify my understanding that Chevelles were never produced @ the Arlington Texas plant until the fall of 1969 with the model year 1970?

More like January '70 was when they began producing it,and other GM A-bodies too.
I have an Arlignton Tx. plant newspaper announcing it along with some pictures somewhere.
It was a big event for them.

Maybe for the Chevelle but according to GM, GTOs were assembled in Arlington in 1968-70.
