Yenko Chevelle = Malibu or SS396 ?
Just reviewing some magazine articles, and was curious as to how the interior was finished. Do the door panel emblems say "MALIBU" or "SS396", same question for the trim above the glove box ?

Re: Yenko Chevelle = Malibu or SS396 ?
In '69 the SS396 was an option on a Malibu or 300 Deluxe Chevelle. The SS396 package was not a model in itself as it was in previous years. The COPO Chevelles and COPO based Yenkos were all Malibu on the inside although a friend had a COPO Chevelle with an SS badged steering wheel. Ours has the blue bow tie.
