How to Identify a '68 MOTION Chevelle ?
I have the vin number, and I realize I can contact Mr. Joel Rosen. but at this point, I'm not convinced enough to spend $1500 (?) on a "crap shoot". It certainly may turn out that it is not a true MOTION car. Is there a way to help identify a true '68 MOTION Chevelle ? Maybe something on the frame where an electric fuel pump was mounted, or some other identifying marks ?

Re: How to Identify a '68 MOTION Chevelle ?
There really are no for sure signs because all of the speed parts were available through the Motion catalog or other speed shops. The electric pumps were normally trunk mounted, but not all cars had them.
Now if it had a vintage stinger fiberglass hood, a hood tach, dual trunk mounted Dupree fuel pumps, ladder bars, Cure-ride shocks, 950 three barrel, fly eye air cleaner, and the car came out of New England, then you might have something worth the $1,500 gamble. Why do you think it is potentially a Motion car? |
