Default '70 'Cuda, #s 440/4-sp/Shaker Project, WOW.

I can't remember the last time I saw a '70 Cuda project with these options AND the original block. The seller goes through a lot of cars on Ebay - I sure would love to know the story behind landing this one. Limelite with Saddle interior might be a 1 of 1.

PERSONALLY, I'd need to see that VIN stamp on the block with no paint. At first blush it's kinda wonky. The zero starts high then everything droops then goes up again at the end.
Not exactly following Hamtramck norms for stampings I have seen and owned. Not calling BS on it but would have to get closer...

Does not appear to be gang stamped as the GM products were, although I am not familiar with Mopars.

This is from Dave Wise. My gut says it should be a straighter gang stamp as Dave shows here
(courtesy MMC Detroit) Also note broach marks

And I just noticed the Julian date of 3028 on the transmission (Nov. 11, 1969, in my previous post I thought it was a 1968 tranny but I am correcting myself) matches the VIN last 4 digits??? That is unheard of. And again that stamping , ugh ....AVOID!

No-sale the last time around (bid to $56,600). The seller relisted it in the link below, with a $62k buy-it-now price.

Didn't sell the last time(s) around - relisted in the link below, with bidding currently at $40k and change (with no reserve). Will be interesting to see where it ends up.
