I agree, my first thought was clean the car up, detail the interior, put together the NOM motor and trans and just enjoy the car as it is! |

If it was me, i would roll it back to the garage and wait until this passes or atleast stabilizes to get maximum return. if the owners are hurting for money, take the advice of 28-30k and run. IF not, throw it up for $40k and see what rolls in. Or, if theyre gamblers, do a no reserve auction via ebay or other sources. Or skip all of that, and list it here in the classifieds. Plenty of options, i however like yours the best, slap her together with a mean motor and enjoy the summer social distancing in an LS6.

There was a chiropractor in Chillicothe that used to own a red ls6, not sure if this is it?

The chiropractor supposedly killed himself, I wont go into further details publicly. My wife is from that town and I hung out there. Remember seeing it for sale. I think his family sold it after his death, they used to run the lumber store in town. A guy I worked with once told me something about the engine, cannot remember what it was. He's retired now, I will see if I can contact him about it.

Additional Photos and Parts Found
Today I was at the owners house, we found NOS rear exhaust pipes with resonators, some Correct exhaust manifolds and coil for the car. It gets better the owner thinks he finally found the original transmission, and heads. Also to throw on the pile is a NOS hood for the car. I have yet to confirm the Hood, heads, and trans. In the pictures at the link you can see the NOS exhaust pipes.

I spoke to my friend, when he looked at the car long ago, it had a 454 from a truck. Unsure of when or why the original engine was out of it. I can tell you there were many 454 blocks laying around in that town. Would not surprise me that someone has it.
