That headlight set up was never on a production line Corvette, but it was a popular ( [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/rolleyes.gif[/img] ) conversion during the days of Peace, Love <span style="font-style: italic">and Drugs</span>. Eckler's and Greenwood, among others, offered both the conversion packages shown on this car.

If you have a truly strong stomach, search &quot;Corvette Sport Wagon&quot; and get an idea of just how badly a human being can screw up a Corvette.

I remember that wagon tail treatment done to a black XKE on the cult movie Harold &amp; Maude. I thought it was cool.

Not my bag either also never cared for the F'Bird wagons too but learned long ago that it's best not poke fun also to keep in mind how 'treasures' like this could've been passed down from someone's dad or other loved ones?
If original nose, wasn't amber lenses '72 only...love to see the tank sheet!
