NICE! Brings back memories of mine. Yellow is one of the rarest colors for the IROC Z's. They are great handling cars and pretty darn quick too! Can you post some more shots? 305 or 350?

NICE. My first (and only) Camaro was a yellow 1985 IROC (full option car except for the quartz clock). These cars are way under the money, guys my age are going to drive the prices into the stratosphere in a few years.

It's a 305. Very cool car but it's time for someone else to take care of it.

I just showed the pictures of my old IROC Z to my 15 year old son. He doesn't remember the car at all even though he was 6 years old when we had it. I was flabberghasted. I remember my dad's cars back to 1963 when I was only 6 months old and was enthralled by the 1958 Oldsmobile station wgaon he filled with plywood to build my brothers a treehouse. He only had it for a couple months in the Spring of '63 and was speachless when I asked him about the car years later. He never took any photos of it at the time so there was no way I could have known of the car unless I saw it that day.

Darn kids these days - no sense of what's important!

Beautiful car, by the way. Wish I had the dough...

Remember back in the day (my day anyway). Street racing was all about the 5.0 Mustangs, GNs and IROCs, all somewhat evenly matched as I recall. Had a new stripper 5.0 LX and used to love to hear the GNs turbo spool up against the brake in the lane next to me, tons of fun

Yes! One night we were running Roosevelt Blvd, caught a light and we were 6 wide - a Fox body, my Nova, a GN, an IROC, a '68 Camaro and a Monte SS with a GN engine it. They all left me and the '68 Camaro like we were tied to a post since we were both smoking the tires like a crop duster, the Fox body and the IROC dropped out together after a couple hundred feet and the GN and Monte SS kept going. That was fun!!

Bought a 1984 H.O. Z28 brand new in Sept. 84.Every conceivable option.
BOOM!..New IROCS came out I fell in love,so traded it in later on a brand new '86 IROC from "Mr.Ed" Schoenthaller himself.A Blue 305cid.with the high rear glass mounted new 3rd brake light...yuk.
Drunk driver hit me in '89 & totaled it,so insurance bought me a brand new 1989 350cid IROC in May of '89.Now the brake light is in the rear spoiler....yuk.It too had every conceivable option,as well as that massive Bose stereo system in the rear compt..That tuned port 350 corvette engine was 10X better then the '86 305,and 100X better than the '84 carbureted 305HO.I must have like 100 photos of these 3 cars and all 3 window stickers still.
I REALLY wanted a 1LE Camaro at that time, and found one on the lot 2 towns over thanks to Ed. S...When I called,it was still for sale for the sticker price.
When I arrived with nearly 22K in hand, they said it sold.
Years later I find out they only made 111 1989 1LE Camaros.

That was one of my first cars. Not a rocket for sure, but definitely enough for a 17 yo to get himself in trouble. I did love that car. HO305 w/ the dual snorkel, T5 5spd, 3.73 rear, ttops.

Good luck with the sale OP
