Thanks for the compliments guys, I really do appreciate it! I'm waiting on my new DA to arrive to start wetsanding, but meanwhile, the front suspension is done!

Jim, yes. Torsion bar adjuster arms have an orange blop on the left and a blue one on the right. It's the first time I've seen the different colors. Other cars had the same colors.

K-Frame is stripped and as I've found on numerous ones, under the steering box was a giant yellow paint swipe. On the idler arm mount is a green swipe. I sometimes find the green on the engine mount bracket that's welded to the frame but nothing on this one.

For the lower control arms, I replicated the dip in a cosmoline bucket by tapping off the dip line then spraying a heavy dose of Krylon battery protector which gave me the drips and runs I was looking for. Uppers are natural with a slight coat of the stuff.

It's all ready to go back together as soon as I get the k-frame painted later today and then off the rotisserie it comes for the last time! Woohoo!

There should have been a paint splotch on the center link as well.
I use a similar product to replicate the Cosmoline. It actually looks more like original Cosmoline than Cosmoline!
Are you going to zinc phos anything....or use RPM to tone down the bare metal stuff?

And are you using the proper front end nuts (no jokes please!). Nothing says non-Mopar like those multi-slotted ones that come with new front end parts.

My nuts are Tri-Castle all the way! Wait, what?

Now that you mention it, was that blop on the center link on one end where the steering box connects? I thought I saw remnants of one, red like the end link adjusters nuts are, on one end or the other but just thought it was something else. Where that blop be located, oh Mopar Master of Megatronic Magistry!?

I guess the tri-castle nuts of which you speak are the top row items in this photo?
