Default '69 Shelby GT350, Behind-the-Barn Find

Wow, no kidding. The Ohio climate will do this to a car.

It's an absolute shame what's happened with this car. Someone is going to need awefully deep pockets to restore this car properly. It's amazing what people are prepared to pay for too far gone cars. Personally, I'd buy one that's restored and drive the wheels off of it. Especially at my age... lol

A rusted through oil pan. I think that is a first for me and cannot imagine how badly corroded the inside of that engine will be. I would bet 50% of the intake bolts will snap off during disassembly.

Amazing that the tree didn't grow up through the trunk of the car like others I've seen. That thing needs absolutely everything.

You can buy a nice 69 GT 500 for less than a hundred. If someone gave that 350 to you, you would still be upside down if you restored it.

I 'spect the oil used didn't have any rust inhibitors added.

Two words...."parts car"

From the auction description...."ENGINE WAS REMOVED FROM CAR DECADES AGO AND STORED IN THE ADJACENT BARN"

And still the oil pan rusted through????? Sorry, not buying that
