Default Super Snake 2.2 Million Took it Home

This car blew the roof off the presale estimates and by far the most valuable Shelby Mustang! Perhaps being previously owned by our own Charley Lillard caused a spike in pricing .

Thought it was going to bring more, and being owned by Charley brought it down.

I think back to experts telling me what it wasn't worth when I decided to sell it.

I think back in 08 I had it on Ebay with a 3 mil "Buy it now". My logic was it should be right up there with a Hemi Cuda convert and I remember someone turning 5 mil down for theirs. Only made one Super Snake GT500.

Was this car owned by a guy in the Quad Cities area of IL/IA a few years back?

Great car and cool write-up! Boss 9 King Cobra seems like a decent deal, too.
