Small updates. Been too cold to get out in the garage for very long here but started on bolts, screws etc of cleaning and preserving.

Process is as follows:

I’ve setup several small plastic containers. First one is citrus degreaser to soak the bolts etc. pull them and clean them with a blue scotchbrite pad and dry off. Then into 1st container of evapo. Sit for 24hrs, pull out clean again using the evapo as the cleaner along with blue scotchbrite pad then into another container of evapo and wait another 24hrs. After that pull out towel dry then use PB Blaster silicone lubricant.

Not much going on here on the preservation front but I was able to snag a correctly dated jack assembly and an original trunk mat.

Starting the long and slow process of the undercarriage cleaning. Be prepared to be underwhelmed with photos of dirty and then clean floorpans.

As I said this will be a slow moving train down the tracks so I probably wont post much if any until I get the full mid section completed. And yes the plan is to pull the subframe, springs and diff out of the car but that will have to wait until I can pull the front sheetmetal as well.

You're taking good care of my next project Darrell. I want to thank you for that.

In all seriousness...nice work and good progress too.
