Default 68 Barracuda Notchback 340-S 4 speed COOL HISTORY

This is a neat one. 1 of 359 built. All the original sales paperwork from Viet Nam order. When you google the original owner's name E5 Lawrence L. Riche you get some interesting historical results.

Still has bornwith drivetrain and a very rare car. And no rust!

Damn, I would bring that home in a heartbeat. '67-'69 notchback's are my favorites.

I had a dark green '68 340-S 4 speed convertible back in the 70's (dents were courtesy of a previous owner friend, not by me) and it was one of the best driving and most fun cars I've ever owned. It could light those skinny tires up in a blink... Always regretted selling that one....

I remember what a pain it was to wrestle that shifter out of the car during a clutch replacement. The offsets in the handle inside of the console made it difficult to twist and turn the darn thing.

But why are all these great California cars for sale never in California???

I’ve been watching this car and bidding from time to time. I’m not a mopar guy, but I could sure drive this 340 4-speed California survivor wearing original factory paint and no rust!

I just tuned in here to post it and njsteve beat me to it. Prior to seeing this post today, I was and still am the high bidder... but I doubt I have the determination to go the distance. Hope someone here buys it.

Hope you’re all having a happy Easter!

Because people from the rust belt buy 'em up and take 'em back to enjoy

Very cool car....gotta love some of those individual options available, such as glove box lock, custom sill moldings, fast manual steering

Obviously met the reserve. I was thinking it would be higher with all the hype in the ad.
Someone got a very cool car and it may not take much to be a survivor driver this summer.
