On a side note, I did get the pressure plate back from McLeod, installed it but only got to drive it around a country block because it started to run like crap. It took me two weeks of trial error to figure out that my CDI box took a sh*t and by that time, I had to put it away for winter.

The little I did drive it, I noticed that the foot pressure was heavier than the first time I installed it but not as heavy as the Hays. McLeod gave me a guarantee that it will work......I’m not so sure. I’ll give it a good test in the spring.

So, if I’m not happy with it, I will either get something different from them with my refund or go a different route. I did keep my Hays PP in case I decide to have it rebuilt. I plan to contact them to see if it’s possible.

Well, I picked up the wheels and tire......unfortunately they are 15x7 with 4.5” backspace not 15x8. They still work but sit IN a little too far. They actually hit my exhaust on the passenger side which isn’t a big deal as I’ll have my exhaust guy adjust it this spring.

But now I’m having a dilemma as I picked up a really nice set I’d 15x8 unilug wheels with 4.25 backspace......exactly the same as my daily driven wheels. I really like the straight lug wheels but the unilug fit better.

The picture above is with my 15x8 wheels with the vintage M&H Racemaster slicks.

These pictures are of the 15x7 wheels with the M&H Racemasters....the last picture is of the passenger side and how it hits the tailpipe....not a big deal ones I have it adjusted.

These are the 15x8 wheels I just purchased......they are SUPER clean and would also look great with the vintage M&H slicks.....

The Hoosier tires are brand new but will be for sale as I don’t need them.

I finally got around to getting the M&H Racemaster tires on the 15x8 Cragars.

They should look on the Chevelle for the NOCC show in Ohio and MCACN.

They look Fantastic Kurt.

I look forward to driving my Former Chevelle again at our annual.....out for a cruise drive....in August at the NOCC.....I certainly hope we do not embarrass any other Chevelle's that may be driving next to us....Wink, Wink
