Default 1970 LS-6 Elcamino Project~VanDerBrink Auctions 9/16/2023

Astro Blue w/Blk V-top & Int.,Stripe Delete & White striped tires too.
What a good looking car this would be when done.Someone dropped some good coin on it too when Brand new.
Wonder if they have the original Block for it too?

This would make an incredible restoration project....if I didn't already have a killer fully loaded 454/M22 '70 Elco SS I'd be all over this thing!

It says that they will offer "a period correct" LS-6 so I gather that it must not come with the matching numbers engine.

Wow. If a/c would have been available with the LS6, it probably would have had that, too.

Helluva hoard of "parts" cars and parts. Very few complete project cars compared to the incomplete ones. Pic of the buildings looks super interesting.

Looks like the guy was really great at tearing into them but not finishing them. Hopefully some of the engines transmissions interiors etc. are lying around in the garages to put them back together.

If they supplied all the parts to rebuild it, I could see that, but as it sits, even with an engine...

Hopefully no one on this Forum bought it...I just heard from a guy that was there and said that even if it was free lol, you'd have your work cut out....the pictures were "overstated "!

Be that ad it may, that is still a "Holy Grail" type of car that deserves to be restored.

You’re down 75,000 without the original running gear even if car is perfectly restored.
