I was referring to the bolt manufacturer.
LE - Lake Erie
C - ?

Yes, I got that. I'm just saying that they must have sourced them from different manufacturers for the different grades. It doesn't make much sence unless Lake Erie didn't make grade 8, which also doesn't make much sence, or maybe it was a price difference. What was the company that made the bolts with the C?

Your right could have been cost, availability and it makes sense to not be restricted to one supplier.
I'm still trying to identify the company that used a C as a manufacturing trade mark.

Period correct mounting hardware for Lakewood bellhousing.
LE Lake Erie or C?
When you know the identify of the manufacturer, it can aid you in locating the correct hardware.
