Default 13 396

Same info I have for 13 397. I have 395 and 398. Very possible 396 is Hershberger also at perhaps a different address or even a similar name, this happens often....Hershberger Chevrolet without Olds in it, Hershberger Motors, etc.

Paul

Thanks Paul.
I have History back to summer of 1975. Best friend bought it that summer in Wichita Falls Texas. It had a crate 427, 4 speed, snow flake intake, 780 Holley, equal length headers ( can't find a name on them) he still has them out behind his dads barn, scatter shield, traction bars, 3 point roll bar ( all Lakewood), L88 hood - with Corvette 427 emblems, electric fuel pump. I first saw it at age 18, I'm now 59. Always thought it could be a super car ( dealer built ). All the work looked professionally done. I have tried to get info from Pa. dmv with no luck. My friend who owned it from 1975 to 1986 sold the engine in 1985 to a person in Bellefonte Pa. area. He said he thinks he might have the engine serial number somewhere. Chevrolet told me they could trace the engine easier than the car.

Default Motor

What year is the motor and is it a big block, you may have a partial vin on the engine pad so you will know that number if it's on there?

Default Original 427

Original 427 was sold in 1986. Gentleman who sold it is trying to find the numbers from it. He had it rebuilt in early 80s and thinks he still has the paperwork in storage.

Hi Paul,

I just received the NCRS info for my 1969 Chevelle but the dealer name & address is missing. I’m wondering if you have them in your records.

Zone 14
Dealer code 503

Thanks!

Paul,

Is it worth to have this service done if you have the pop and know where my car was delivered?

Although, my pop says my car was an AIR car but was delivered in Pa.? I guess It would tell me if my car was ordered for California and sent here in Pa. instead? It could happen, right?
