Default Date code 70 LT-1 Spare tire.

This is the spare on my 70 LT-1. I think it is the original spare. F70 15 Goodyear thin white wall. I think I had the conversation once before, but can't remember;.... or find it.

I have tried several web sites that purportedly tell me how to read date codes, but I am apparently too dense to do so.

Car is dated Feb 11 of 1970. So, I guess a December 69 date is not out of the question. Might cause some confusion, as I believe Goodyear changed up the coding yearly back then.

UR01B02 or UR1 B02

As always, any help appreciated.

You're correct it's dec 69 akron built B02 I think may be a line and week code or maybe just a batch code.
It is highly probable to 100% that a thin white line dec dated tire is original to the car...
FWIW there is no NCRS judge who will knock any points on that one.
Has it been on the ground? Any tread markings ? OR can you find the wax drop for balancing?

A dec tire was during change over from 69 MY... which ran until the 12th of dec if I am not mistaken.

Thanks James. Yes, it has been on the ground, but not much. Will look for the wax drop.

Default Wheel Date

Looks like Feb 3 of 70; 8 days before the body build date.

Also noticed the lillte spot weld (although this one looks like the mig gas was low) as seen on many YH wheels.
