You can go to Walmart for anything and everything, from your weekly groceries to your DIY needs. But if you're a Texan, you know there's one thing you can't buy at Walmart: liquor. The world's largest retailer has been attempting to prove that a 1995 state law that bars the sale of liquor by publicly owned companies in Texas is discriminating against out-of-state commerce. But following the U.S. Supreme Court rejecting Walmart's petition this week, the company has failed in its bid to start selling liquor at its stores in Texas.

All 396 engines wore chrome valve covers, but only the 350hp and 375hp varieties came equipped with an open-element air filter. The 325hp engine had a black side-snorkel-type air cleaner with a chrome lid. However, when an automatic transmission was ordered in 1969, all engines were equipped with a closed air cleaner assembly.
Is this true?

I believe even the automatic 350 horse cars in 69, at least Chevelle, still had the open element air cleaner.

I thought that the Impala got painted valve covers on the 396.
