Default 66 Quarter panel question

Working on a 66 chevelle convertable. My question is,other than the obvious roof pillar not existing on the convertable. Are the trunk gutter shape/dimension and the quarter window sash shape/dimension the same from hardtop to convert.? I have a chance to buy an NOS hardtop quarter and was hoping it was the same in the common areas. My guess is the trunk area is the same considering the trunk lid is not specific to either. The jamb would be the same. Comes down to the window area??
THANKS for any help

Default Re: 66 Quarter panel question

Not sure about the quarter I used skins on the 67 convertible I restored. I do know the inner and outer wheel wells are different for convertibles. You can use a hard top wheel well but you will basically have to cut it in half and graft it into your existing wheel wells. The top part of a convert wheel well is flat for the top to sit when it is down.
