One of my favorites, I always looked forward to the "Last Page" and loved the editorials he use to pen.

R.I.P Tom

That is sad. I met Tom in 1989 when he shot my L78 convert for the cover of Musclecar Review. Said it was the first real one he had ever seen. Really nice guy. Ran into him years later.

My wife and I were very sad to hear of his death.

I just heard about Tom's passing. I worked with Tom and Paul Zazarine at Dobbs Publishing from 1990 to 1994. At the time Tom was the editor of Musclecar Review and I was the technical editor for Musclecar Review and Mopar Muscle. Those were fun times in the heyday of the musclecar magazine craze. Tom was entertaining to work with, so say the least. He was always editing articles I wrote into his unique form of English (which usually ignored most of the basic rules we all learned in high school). Luckily the editorial assistant (who eventually became my wife of 23+ years, so far) would intercept his edits and then convert them back into standard English so our readers would understand what the heck we were all trying to say. He was a fun guy to work with.

Very Sad to hear. Prayers for Him & His family.
I really liked his editorials and often he wrote passionately about our collective admiration of these rolling works of art in all forms.

RIP

Default RIP Tom Shaw

'
Sorry to read the sad news, prayers and condolences to Tom's family and many friends.
His passion and dedication not only touched countless car guy lives through the years but also helped refine our taste and appreciation of stock musclecars.

Thank you Tom and RIP.
~ Pete

My favorite Last Page he wrote was called I Am A Muscle Car Guy. It's me put into words. Mr. Shaw was a true Car Guy. May he RIP.
