Default My new Hot Rod.

Just picked this one up. 68 Z with a spare motor and a ton of parts. It came with a build sheet and GM Vintage report. It has a built 327 in it right now so I have a lot of work to keep me busy for the winter. I bought it from a woman so I started things off with a bag of M&Ms. I figured flowers was a little too much. When it came time to deal I pulled out my camera bag and said. "Oh no. I forgot my camera." And then showed her the bag which was filled with cash. She flipped out and then made a couple of calls before saying yes. I could have gotten the price down more but it was her husbands car who had passed a few years ago.

The car has a cowl hood, bigger than stock wheels and it's Fathom Blue. It was originaly green with white stripes so I need to decide how far I want to go in getting it back to stock. The paint is perfect so it would be tough to repaint. I can't wait to get started.

Maybe I will take it out tomorrow and see if I can still bang a couple of gears.

I would have a hard time painting a car that was already a great color, especially if the paint was really nice, let alone perfect.

Looks like a fun car.

Peanut or plain M&Ms?

Either way, nice buy.

^ HAH!

I’ve done that! Put out three bowls among your other party snacks: Peanut M&Ms, peanuts, and an empty bowl. During the party, and after someone’s had some peanuts, you stroll over grab an M&M, chew / suck the candy coating and chocolate off and deposit it in the empty bowl and continue like it’s normal...
