Default 1969 LM1 Project, 3 Speed Muncie! Numbers Match!

Too many projects. Just got my original car back from High School. Deciding to sell two project cars. Here is one.

1969 Camaro LM1, 350, 3 Speed Muncie.

If you are looking for something just a little different that the average SS 350, then this car may be for you. This is a 1969 Camaro LM1. The LM1's were a "base" performance car. They came with many of the high performance items that you would find on the other "HiPo" models, but with no ornamentation. In fact, many came with "Dog Dish" poverty caps, and had the same look as the COPO's. The non high performance camaros got the 3 speed saginaw as the base transmission, but the high performance models got the 3 speed muncie as the base. In almost all of the cases, the buyer opted for the few dollar upgrade to the 4 speed muncie. Not in this case, which makes for a pretty rare (read unique, not necessarily worth any more) item.

This car came to me with rusty floors, RH Frame Rail, and quarters. She now sports all new DII quarters, and a fill floor and trunk. All of the above rusty areas were repaired with DII metal, with the exception of the cowl. I will leave that up to the new owner. There are some rust holes that were filled in the lower cowl where it meets the windshield.

The car was running and driving when I got her. The engine still has the SMOG (same as the Z28, worth 2,000 alone) and all of the original parts unique to the LM1 (4 barrel intake and carb).

She still has her original 12 bolt rear, but has new leaf springs.

All of the interior parts are there and ready to recover/refinish.

Originally an Olympic Gold / Green Int car.
No Console, 3 Speed on the Floor, Poverty cap car.

This car will look just like a COPO when done, and run like a SS! All original.

She is a project, and still needs some attention, but the hardest stuff is done.

11,000.00. No trades, too many projects right now. open title and bill of sale in my name.

If you are looking for something different, yet still powerful, please contact me either with a PM, Email [email protected] or call me on my cell at 504-913-3618

Thanks for Looking.

No flooding, this car was in Mississippi during Katrina!
