Default Heater Box Inner Door Removal 68 Nova

Trying to refurbish my heater box.
Was looking for some advice on removing mode doors from box to better detail them and apply foam, etc.
Are the doors even removable without destroying pins, or...?
Thanks

As I recall you would have to grind off the end of the pins to remove. Mine was in decent enough shape, I just cleaned it all up and repainted.
