Default Next project: Official Yenko/MCACN posters?!?!

Greetings fellow Yenkonians!

With the tremendous flop of the 2021 Yenko.net/MCACN calendar project fresh on everyone’s forgotten list, I decided maybe another fun membership project was in order. Enter the “Dave’s Unsupported MCACN/Yenko.net Poster”, or DUMP, project! Yes, this has all the earmarks of yet another poorly timed financial folly, but why not enjoy looking at a poster of a cool restored car from one of our members in your shop while you’re working/destroying the project car in front of you? I know, exactly! It’ll give inspiration to unstucking that stuck bolt, unrusting that rusted floor, and ultimately be the motivation to list that jalopy on Craigslist! Er, wait, that may not be the best motivation. Anyway, here’s what I’m thinking:

Project DUMP will have three posters to chose from:

Rick’s Patriotic ‘69 Yenko Chevelle (July)
Name: 1644153719141.jpg
Views: 781
Size: 365.0 KB
Sam’s rocking Day 2 ‘69 Chevelle (October)
Name: 1644153734710.jpg
Views: 732
Size: 316.6 KB
The Dykstra’s ultra cool ‘62 409 Impala (August)
Name: 1644153699447.jpg
Views: 1149
Size: 257.4 KB
Phil’s enticing 69’ COPO Chevelle (custom made)
Name: Screenshot_20220206-071957-939.jpg
Views: 732
Size: 175.6 KB

Pricing is yet to be determined once I figure out if there’s any interest in this type of thing, how many to make, and what would be reasonable so as with every corporate structure (in this case, SuperDave, LLC, Inc), standby for another poll.. Unlike previous projects, we can accept paypal for payment this time and I think they’ll be a flat rate on shipping. The plan, much like the first plan (although failed), is to cover costs (major fail!) and use the rest as a donation to the website and MCACN to help continue what they’re doing for us schmoos. Yes, I realize all are Chevy products, and for a guy like me, that’s hard to get over. But fear not! If this round goes well using existing photos and files to keep the cost down, a second run of Mopars, Pontiacs, and Fords will be sure to follow!

So take the poll! Do your civic duty and VOTE! (***sensored - political comment - sensored***) Part of the hobby is the fun of sharing, and I can’t think of a better way of sharing than supporting the site by displaying a cool poster on the wall in your shop!

Cheers
Dave

I am hoping my email the other day asking for any of the box of leftover calendars didn't bring up a bad memory. (I do want some extras of the calendar.)

Ill take a couple of the poster.

By memory I sent a Canadian cheque last time which was confusing to your bank and not recognized as legal tender.... then I sent money to Phil so he could pay you at some abandoned airport somewhere?

Paypal will be much easier :-)

PS: I vote for Phil's car, but I vote for his black/red gut 22K mile survivor 325hp 4 speed peach.... are we allowed to pick any car? :-) (any of Phil's cars are my actual vote)

Dave do you take 2 or 3 lines with your coffee in the morning?

And what’s with all the “big butty Judy’s”..??.. where’s the love for some survivor or Day 2 Camaros?
