Yes, I drove auction cars again this year. Only had one POS this year.

Tuesday night I was in a blue '57 Chevy truck that was televised, had a camera in my face while in that one. On another night, I followed the '72 Corvette convertible with AC and an LT1 that sold for $185K. That was televised. On Sunday, the cars I drove were all televised. Had one of Dave Kindig's cars too.

Rick, did you meet Dave Kindig? Seems like a decent guy.

Sorta. Yes, he is a decent guy, very down to earth and appreciative of his fans. He always takes time to say hi, take a selfie, or sign something for a fan. Between all of his fans and the media, I just stand back so he can entertain.

However, I hung out with his paint guy Bryce and Bryce's dad Howard. Those two were very cool and speak highly of Dave.

This is the Kindig Mustang I was assigned.

Bryce is in the center with the consignor Rick and his wife.

One day I ended up with this sweet '55 Nomad with a 265 and 3 on the tree. So I took a few photos of the my auction "journey".

Here we await our "position" in the auction lanes. This is before pre-staging. We are in groups of three, because when we finally arrive in the staging lanes, we are in four (the amount of lanes) groups of three.

Just some scenery

Once I arrive in pre-staging, I take the Facebook picture.

Gets very crowded in pre-staging!

The end of pre-staging

I've just entered the hall through the big door.

Bottom of the ramp

Top of the ramp, otherwise known as "on deck".

The crowd

I wanted to take a photo of the Sold Girl, but forgot.

This one sold for $48K.
