Default '69 AMX, way cool Day 2 car

Sounds like this car won a few awards in the 1980s...I dig the subtle paint and Spyder wheels. The "Group 19" intake and headers are pretty sweet pieces, too. I would drive this thing EVERYWHERE in nice weather...what a neat car...crushed velvet seats and all.

That's a really cool car... Something definitely different.

I know nothing about AMC stuff, but have always admired the AMX.

I am certain this would be worth a bit more as a pristine original. Also guessing it would be worth considerably more with the 390.

It is over $12k right now and reserve has NOT been met. I would think that would be close to top dollar already, given it has not been started or driven for 16 years. No mention if the engine is locked.

What would be a fair price for this one? What would it be worth if it were all original?

I like the deal so far also Spyders a bonus but keeping the paint/seats would require a new wardrobe.

What makes you think I don't already have that wardrobe?

I would say anything under $15k would be solid if you could somehow prove the engine wasn’t hurt. I’m guessing you could have it on the road in a weekend or two, and most of your cost would be new tires, rubber hoses and fluids.
