Default 1969 Smog Tubes - Unrestored survivors

I bought these 1969 (March 1969) dates big block exhaust manifolds with smog tubes a few years ago. They have been sitting in my storage room ever since. I plan on using the exhaust manifolds in the future, but I do not need the Smog Tubes.

Seeing the posting for restored smog tubes led me to ask what these are worth? They are very good condition, unrestored tubes. The guy I got them from told me he personally removed the exhaust manifolds and smog tubes off a 1969 Camaro he owned when the car was less than a week old. He then stored the manifolds and smog tubes in his garage where they sat for decades, even after the Camaro was long ago sold. You can see that the manifolds (again, "NOT FOR SALE") still have the orange overspray on them and they are in near perfect condition.

I am only selling the smog tubes. Several people, 11 of you, responded to my question as to "what are they worth?". A few said "$300-$500". One guy offered $100. Others simply said "send photos, I want them". I have decided to price them right in the middle at $400, plus a flat rate of $20 for shipping anywhere in the USA.

The $400 + $20 gets you just the two smog tubes and the check valves attached. You don't get the little short tubes that go into the exhaust port, as I also need those.

You can see these are in great, survivor condition. Some scratches from being stored and moved around I'm sure, but no dents or bends and the nuts are near perfect as I soaked them in break-free and very carefully got them removed from the manifold.

Please study the photos carefully as these are sold "as is" and I want you comfortable with what you are buying. Thanks, Paul

Someone that saw the photos on my Facebook page tells me they believe these are reproduction smog tubes. I do not know the answer and if they are, I will take down my ad.

I bought these from a guy that told me he personally removed the manifolds from his own car when it was days old and the condition of the manifolds would suggest to me that is true.

Can someone look at the photos on my Facebook link and definitively say whether they are real or reproductions?

People that know me know I would never intentionally misrepresent anything here.

If they turn out to be repop, I’ll take em...but not at that price, understandably.

I have some emails of the photos out to a couple people trying to determine if they are real or not. Once I know for sure, I will price accordingly. Thanks, Paul
