Some of the Chicago guys knew about the car and it's heritage, but the long term owner kept to him self about the car. I don't believe that I have ever seen it discussed prior.

The prior owner, kept the car in good running condition. I had to put some air in the tires, but we were able to drive it into the trailer. It is original paint, top and interior minus a few items which were removed for racing plus a few items added for racing.
We are thinking about showing it at MCACN as a Day II Barn Find / Hidden Gem just as it prowled the streets of Chicago back in the day, that is if Mr. Ashton extends an invitation? |
