Default 1969 GTO convertible project

Apparently a PHS documented numbers matching drive train GTO convertible wearing its original matador red paint with red buckets & console, black power top and a 3 speed saginaw stick. Car was bought new by original owner at Van Schleedorn Pontiac in Menominee, WI with the dealer sticker still on trunk lid.

"Typical Wisconsin rust" - words that strike fear into most of us.

Car might bring more money if he hadn't started pulling it apart.

Selling dealer was a few miles away from where I grew up. I remember quite a few of those dealer emblems....

Looks like a good project if the rust monster hasn't munched on this one too bad.
