Always like this car. Came super close to buying one back in 1984. Only thing that stopped me was my company deciding to get me a company car.

Did you know . . .

The first "W" code that Olds used was 1965's W29: 4-4-2 Performance package. This replaced 1964's code B09: Police Apprehender Pursuit package

Did you know . . .

For the 1965 - 1967 Olds 4-4-2, the color scheme of the emblem on the air cleaner is different than those used on the body. The "2" is Yellow while the body emblem's "2" is Orange

All of these pics were taken by Tim Costello (Lots of folks know him from MCACN) and there is a neat article that goes along with Tim's pics...and it also talks about MCACN as well.

Grady Burch and a few other Yenko.net members are featured in the article as well!

Keith:

Do you know the story behind the 1965 GTO taillights? Something to do with an ungodly amount of money spent for a one year only styling cue.

This is the only know Silver Metallic with a Red Interior 1966 Hemi Charger. Dodge built 468 Hemi Chargers in 1966. Silver Metallic was an extra cost color in 1966.
