Default Unrestored '70 440-6 'Cuda

Well how about this one...claiming to be a 48,000 mile car with the original motor and one repaint. If that rough V-code 4-speed project that came on the market earlier this year was bid to around $60k, granted this is an automatic, I'm going to be watching closely to see where it goes.

Just gorgeous.

You mean the dashpad VIN? Those are normal "1"s for an E body VIN.

No matter what, there always seems to be a very healthy market for V code E bodies. Gorgeous, timeless body style IMO

That 440+6 engine was a frightening beast. I remember breaking a throttle return spring coming out of the East Haven, CT toll booths back in the 1980's. The throttle stuck wide open on all six barrels. The car traveled a quarter mile in second gear before I was able to shut it down. I had to turn the key back one click to kill the ignition while holding on for dear life, (trying not to lock the steering column in my near panic state) while still in gear and accelerating. The backfire through the exhaust shattered one of the toll booth windows from that distance. They called the state troopers who found me on the side of the road, they finally believed me when they saw the pieces of the broken spring laying on the intake. They even loaned me some rubber bands to create a makeshift replacement spring.

Was going to bid on this pre bid retraction. Now its just a joke. Ebay needs to worry more about getting bidders CC numbers and charging fees for retractions and non payments rather than worrying about taking walmart gift card payments for products

Is this seller for real???? "Rumble steering wheel" and "A track radio", among other goof-ups??? Hard to believe anyone that owns a car like this is that ignorant.
