Default Old Friend coming home

A good friend sold this car two years ago after a group of us met him and helped prepare his car for NCRS judging. The car scored very well, but shortly after judging he had to sell it. It sold quickly and many of regretted letting it leave town. Well, it came up for sale again, and it's coming back to town.

It's a white/red 427-390 horse with no radio ever installed in it. The paperwork includes the tank sticker, window sticker and Warranty Plate along with other items. It's good to have it back home.

Here's the original window sticker with a typed in VIN. This car was produced in mid September 1966 and could not be sold until 10-1-66. Window stickers were mailed from the zone office as they were not placed on the car until they could be sold. I have other early window stickers with typed on VIN's. Tank sticker is slim, but all the options are there as is the ident number in the upper left corner.

I have '67 #350 that is also a 427/390 and the engine was assembled the same day. The stamps are identical.
