Yenko Chevelle hood stripes did vary as seen in original pictures


some were angled, some look straight

some ran longer then the fender stripe , some were shorter

most looked to be about same length as the fender stripe



some Y Chevelles were said to not have the "SYC arrow" hood piece

also interesting is some Yenko Chevelles had the 1968 427 emblems
most had the 1969 Yenko 427 emblems

And from what I have heard recently some Yenko Chevelles came with flat Malibu hoods. I know some early shots of Nick's car has a flat non striped hood but have yet to ask him if it came that way or if he put that hood on.

Here are some other photos of stripe variations as well. Not how the stripe also continues beyond the chrome grilles. Not how deep the sYc triangle is on the 2nd photo when compared with the last photo.

looks like it has an SS hood, short stripes and large SYC arrow but could have been added later

how about those muncie rope stands?

15” Rally’s are cool because they are part of the COPO order...69 Z/28 wheels special ordered on a Chevelle.
