Default '69 Ford LTD Orig 429/4-sp Convertible, 1 of 113

Well, if you're into Ford big cars, this is probably the one to have. Looks like a good project. I see an old SW 977 tach hanging off the column, too...pretty cool.

Pretty neat car. Marti reports says it was sold new with 215R15 radial ply white sidewall tires. I wasn't aware that Ford was selling cars with radial tires at that time.

I saw that too...pretty interesting. I believe the 69 Firebird also had a radial option if I remember correctly.

I dunno, a factory 4-speed BB big car convertible is still a pretty cool ride these days IMO. I do agree it’d be better with the hotter mill.
