Well looks like one piston and that steel crank survived still hooked to the dyno

Awesome explosion! funny how you watch that video and then I got sucked in to watching 1/2 hour of "tree cutting" videos on Youtube.

So in this scenario who pays for damage, not just the obvious (to the engine) but damage to the dyno equipment and room? Shop's insurance, engine owner's insurance? What if the shop built the engine and a component they installed failed?
