Default '67 Corvette Convertible, Ex 390hp 427, Tank Sticker

Very beautiful car - currently sporting a 327 but would be easy enough to swap out a period correct BB.

----Pretty complete changeover. To add a hood and big-block radiator, shroud and all the small other stuff and drop in a 400 tri power big block (that the owner claims it was) would financially be tough to make a case for bringing this 67 back to original but still with a non-original engine. It would have been nice to get the black vinyl hard top with the car as well. There are some pieces that would bring some money back into someones pocket though. Three days to go. Wonder where the price will end up. Hard call!....Bill S

What a shame that it is not in its tank sticker configuration. Red/red 400 with side pipes would have been a bit more to complete and worth lots more in the end.

That is extremely interesting. You don't see a red/red 427 car converted to a white/red small block, ever. Factory side exhaust, too. Especially with such a complete transformation.

The reserve probably reflects a premium for the original configuration. Would cost a small fortune to change it back to factory setup.
