Default '70 Survivor SS396/4-sp El Camino, Orig Paint, 48k Miles

Neat car with amazing original paint and interior. Even has what looks to be the old Delco Jac-Pac auto air shock system in the rear.

The colour probably hurts it a bit, but I could get used to the black bench seat interior, 4-speeed and looking out over the bulge of that cowl induction hood.

This car is local to me and the owner is a solid guy with a great small collection of survivor cars. I have seen this el co in person. And it is a very cool and very original 4spd big block. I believe he found it stashed away in a garage.

I recently saw a 70 Monte Carlo SS454 with the air shock suspension option on it. That was the first time I had ever seen that!

I think that was standard equipment on the SS454?

Yeah, I think that's what the owner told me. He was a Monte fanatic. Owned about six of them, one being a black 454 4-sp car. He also had a small block car that someone had converted into a convertible. They did a nice job too - looked totally factory. Used the top and A-pillar from a Chevelle.
