Default '68 Corvette #s L79 Convertible, Bronze/Black, Docs

Looks like a great car - and according to the seller, most of the paint is original. Side exhaust is not...but I wouldn't kick it out of the garage. Was with the original owner until his death in 2014....

I have no business buying another car right now.; but boy am I tempted on this one.

Would be a great stable mate to my 70 LT-1.

Love that color.

Very nice car - it says "unrestored", but the cad plating on the master cylinder does not look original to me. Also seems way too clean underneath for a 50K+ mile car not to have been disassembled and new seals and gaskets installed. I agree with original, but can you still say "unrestored" if you reseal and clean everything? (Yeah, I know I am getting pretty picky with the nuances of the term.)

But still, very clean Vette that I would be proud to own.

Definitely a great car (although I'm biased by my son's version we just finished). Anytime someone says "correct" I hear restored. There's nothing wrong with restored, as my picture shows - Just say it!

North of $30K is tall money for a C3 small block car - Even an L79 - IMHO.

Low 30's is about where it should be, unfortunately. I sold a twin to it last year but blue/blue for not much more and he sent it to Mecum where is sold for $22,000. It was a very nice '68 Corvette.

Relisted in the link below - we'll see if the seller gets more realistic on the reserve.
