That dealer sold alot of Hi-Perf. Chevrolet's for there time. My brother's Double Blk. 4-spd. LS-6 chevelle came from Scuncio. We still talk to the orig. owner and he recalls a line of LS-6 Chevelle's and a Fathom Green ZL-1 that sat there for over a year before they took the motor out and sold it to a local racer. That car is now in Cliff Ernst collection in Nashville,Tenn.(Host of SCR 1)

That is a great car. Kinda reminds me of my wife, nasty with an evil attitude Love the pics of it launching.

Anyone know anything about the engine in it now? Does he run a solid cam? Roller rockers? I have a COPO Clone and use the stock valve covers and can't use my stud girdle, my rockers come lose to quick.

i owned the car about 2 month's and it was scary. It was 45 minute's from my house. After the 1st drive with Ray Dupont, i was scared to death. Racing form with 456 gear's and would raise the front end off the road and still streetable.I drove the car 5 times and couldn't decide to put it back to original or keep it like it was. What helped me make my decision is when i took my 4 yr. old for a ride on a back street and we hit 2nd gear and crossed up in the road and headed for the trees i shoved it in neutral and went back to the house shaking like a leaf. I had to make a decision quick. It was easy, the car was way over my head.It was without a doubt the fastest car i have ever been behind the wheel of. Ray Dupont could drive it like a street car, he definitely knew what he was doing. A Pro!One Double Bad _ss _other! When i got out of the car i was trembling scared! My son said Daddy that hurt my head when i hit the roll cage!

Hi Guys, Neat feature car, great to see a Scuncio car that survived, I have a buddy up in Rhode Island that is scouring the local junkyards looking for Scuncio plate frames and plaques. Andrew
