Default Mecum Indy

Just wondering what everybodys thoughts were on this years Sale ? Percentage of cars Sold looked to be very high ?, even though the Crowds obviously were way light.

Overall I was surprised how high so many vehicles actually sold for,being what the world is today.
I heard the hammer say "sold on the internet" quite a lot,and rightly so I guess,as many weren't there in person.I still wouldn't bid on any vehicle w/o seeing it in person,so that's interesting that so many did.

Many reserves not met,but when you see where the bidding was for those "Bid Goes On" vehicles,may be that was for the best.

Mecum’s live Indy auction scores record sales of $74 million

The overall sell-through rate was more than 90 percent, Mecum said, with 78 percent of about 1,800 vehicles hammered sold.
The top-10 highest sellers for the Indy 2020 auction were:
  1. 1965 Shelby GT350R Prototype at $3.85 million
  2. 1965 Ferrari 275 GTS at $1.43 million
  3. 1966 Shelby GT350 convertible at $1.1 million
  4. 1964 Shelby 289 Independent Competition Cobra at $990,000
  5. 2018 Ford GT at $946,000
  6. 1965 Shelby GT350 Paxton Prototype at $880,000
  7. 1966 Shelby GT350 Paxton fastback at $852,500
  8. 1963 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III drophead coupe at $726,000
  9. 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona at $715,000
  10. 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO at $698,500

Lot of Cool Shelby's, Vette's etc... there but that El Camino was probably the One car there that I would truly LUST for in my personal garage

Does anyone know the sold or bid to price on the 2 1970 L78 Camaros?
The website says sold but shows no price. So I am guessing they sold after auctions end?

Recall seeing that beautiful Black 1970 Chevrolet El Camino LS6 sell at Mecum Las Vegas on Oct 12,2019 for $115,500.00
