My boss and I had 69 GTO's , and I wanted a hidden headlight setup for mine. He knew somebody that had one I could have if I pulled it off the car. I had to do it in the next couple days because he entered it in the local fair's demo derby. It was a pretty nice car, I had to put the mint front endura bumper back on, what a shame.

Hard to believe, this is ZL-1 Camaro #33 124379N610732. Road raced 'down under' by the late Bob Jane. He bought it and ZL-1 #52 new from Jim Rathmann Chevrolet in FL. #52 was drag raced a bit, said to have been destroyed years ago in a highway crash.

#33 is now restored to original racing livery and last I knew, had the engine from #52.

Did any of the cars that were cut up for dirt track racing ever get restored?
