Default 1967 L35 SMOG question

Would the (California cars) SMOG equipment, hoses, brackets, etc. be the same for all '67 L35s (396/325) regardless of application? Seems to me it would not be car specific but rather engine specific. Anyone know?

Stumper?

My buddy just bought an untouched '67 Impala SS L35/Th400, all the SMOG, carb, air cleaner, everything intact, and I want the SMOG for my '67 L35/Th400 Camaro.

I thought that the smog that you need comes from the Corvettes...not the big cars...which is why it's so damn expensive!

"I need a part for a 1972 Monte Carlo."
"Here ya go."
"How come it's so expensive?"
"Because it's for a Corvette."
"But I have a '72 Monte Carlo."
"It's for a Corvette."
"Do you have one for a Monte Carlo that isn't so expensive?"
"It fits on Corvettes."
"Nevermind."

I just paid good money for a smog system for my 68 Impala because as he said "It fits on Camaros and Chevelles". The irony is that a Camaro guy raped it off of an untouched 68 Impala back in the 80s to use on a Camaro.

By the way Steve, my buddy bought just the engine, not a whole car. Seller had the engine, untouched right down to the old AC spark plugs and big chrome-lid single snorkel air cleaner, sitting in a corner of his shop for decades and my buddy bought it for a build and doesn't need the smog system. Seller sold off the Impala long ago.
