1966 Hemi Belvedere II 4 spd. HP2 Car
SOLD!!!!!!!~!!! This is a clean very documented unmolested HP2 Hemi Belvedere II. This car's Scheduled Production Date is December 13th 1965. It has all of the original date coded engine components. All Oct. and November of 1965. The Engine still has the assy line cradle hooks on the front and back. They were supposed to be removed. This car was special ordered by a Gentleman who owned a Taxi Company in N.C. He ordered it with his new Taxi Fleet for 1966. This car has not been torn apart or restored. 56,000 original miles. The car had one dealer repaint in 1968. The engine was rebuilt due to sitting for years and only 100 miles since. This car runs and drives super nice. Hit the gas set the choke and it fires right up. All chrome and cosmetics are really nice no pitting. The front seat has a small spot were the stitching came apart some. All rubber is in exec. condition. Manual steering. 3:54 Dana 60. HP2 stood for High Performance 2 carbs. It only said 426 in red on the hood ornament seen by the driver and passenger only. They wanted to make these as sleepers. Since they did not a lot they decided after January 1966 They received the famous HEMI square emblem on the bottom of the fenders. These are real hard to find especially like this one. Nice build sheet and the original title. Car is in Dallas, Texas area. You are not going to find a better one for this Price.
