Default Stuff you hate to see at Car shows

This topic is rather taboo, but we all hate to see certain things at shows. Here’s a few,

Historical Lic plates on kit cars
Plastic wire loom coveres that match something on the car
Signed parts
Stuffed animals
Jap cars with samari swords, or ninja crap.
AC all removed, except on the firewall.

What’s one that just makes you shake your head

Those weird little kid dolls that face the car with their heads down or whatever. What started that weirdness? Those are just strange to me.

How about 1969 Z28's with the grill Z28 badge mounted in the wrong position I say about 60% are that way.

The last 2 I believe are correct, RS and standard are in the same spot.

I find it funny that you pull a photo I shared on CRG of a friends car that he bought in the fall of 69 with a period photo of the car with the emblem placement and a current photo of where the emblem is today but yet you are all for how they left the factory.. And yes I am taking a little personal as I give validation to an oddity not once but twice in the thread but you chose to “crop” my photo and use it in this thread as things that aren’t correct or things that bother someone at a car show.

For those that might want to read up on the thread.

100% this!

And I must be showing my age but I cannot stand Doo-wop music.

I think it's more disturbing that Lee has more posts in this thread than all of you combined

I'm beginning to wonder if he even enjoys himself at all when he goes to a car show lol

Actually I do enjoy going to local car shows though it's been a while. I go with low expectations on the quality of the cars. And most meet said expectation so I look and always compliment the owner on his ride. Then when I see one that exceeds my expectations I take the time to talk about the car with the owner.

I do say this . . . it's more enjoyable and stress free when you just go then if you bring a car with you.
