Welcome to the site and Congrats on scoring such a cool and unmolested car! Congrats to the owner too, for preserving it for all those years.

I also want to say thanks for the pics of your warehouse; as an avid bike collector, (I am down to just 35-40 now, down from over 100 at one point!) I really loved seeing your bikes on display above all of those beautiful pedal cars and other fine cars.

Oh...and I gotta ask; is that a 63 or early 64 on the lower left and what tape do you have in the 8-track player?

Hope you are jamming out to some Foghat or maybe Deep Purple when you take the kids to day-care!

Richie,

Killer find. I dealt with you on the 70 Ranchero 429CJ years ago. Nice to hear you are doing well.

Wow. Really interesting. I lived in Santa Barbara for many years and was part of the cruising scene there in the mid-to-late '70s. I never knew there was a '69 Trans-Am that was sold new through the local Pontiac dealership. I do recall one time seeing a '69 Trans-Am parked behind the Granada Theatre (in SB) late at night on New Years Eve and it was either the late '70s or early '80s. I never saw it again and assumed it was not a local car. Maybe it was this one??? Thanks for posting the pics and info. I have a Hughes dealership frame somewhere but I'm not sure how nice it is. If you need it, I'll take a look.
