GM Irmine White 972 Lacquer Paint

Looking for GM code 972 lacquer paint Ermine White for 1966. Need to do panel touch up repair.
Previous paint was Ditzler DDL-8259
Any help is very much appreciated

Don't know how much paint you need but I think I have a pint of Ermine White Lacquer.

You have to find a GOOD paint mix guy. I have the same colour. Went to a well respected paint mix shop, 4 tries and it was still a shade out.
I talked to my body repair guy, he comes to my garage to work on my car. He told me to go to another shop and ask for a certain guy. This guy nailed it the first time, perfect match. I had my body guy fix a mark on the roof where something fell on the car.
He painted it with the "rattle can" paint. You can't see it.
My body guy works on mostly brass era and concours cars, knows his stuff.

Found these Lacquers in my paint inventory
1970 dupont white L-5040
1969 DDL-2058 PPG white
also have a few other colors

Thanks canam trying to find the correct color if possible I know it's a long shot.
Do you have any knowledge of TCP Global/Restoration Shop paint? They offer acrylic lacquer in ermine white.

If you find an old can of lacquer, it has likely changed hues over the years.

They tend to darken in the can.

I have a 69 Z28 Hugger Orange with lacquer that was painted in 1988. I purchased lacquer 15-20 years ago that still matches the car if I touch up a nick.

I'm not doubting what your saying especially with white, but if I get lucky I'll try some old stock lacquer.

White is THE hardest colour to match. Just my experience with 3 white vehicles.... But the old can will be good for a small stone chip in a not noticeable spot.
If you are thinking about blowing in a bigger repair, then I think you are asking for problems....
