Default 1969 SBC Exhaust Heat Shields Needed - Pair

This blue 69 Z that I am going through right now was missing a pair of original spark plug heat shields on the driver's side. I'm pretty sure all 4 are exactly the same regardless of the side they are mounted on and could use a pair of originals if someone has a spare set.

Let me know if you have a decent original pair you could sell.

Thanks...G

I believe you are correct; they are the same from side to side.

However, IIRC (big if right now) there were two sets of holes, and a different set was used for each side. That means that if you find a nice set that was used on the right side, those unused holes will have some scars showing when you mount them on the left side.

Someone with more recent experience can correct me if I am wrong.

Looks like they are the same. I flipped the pair I have to the driver's side and the bolt holes align on the block as long as I end up finding the same offset tabs as shown below. Looking for a pair like these.

Default Heat Shields

Not sure if this would help. They all came off a 69 Impala 350/300hp. Larry

The wrong style though.
