Default Eight car field with one ZL-1 Camaro and one Yenko Camaro

This first photo is an interesting photo of Carol Henson with the ‘Warlock’ Camaro and in the back ground is Fan Mellott with a Camaro named ‘Friends and Neighbors’.

These two cars were part of a 1971 drag racing tour that included an eight woman drag racing field competing in a number of events. It was called ‘Miss Universe of Drag Racing’ and followed a Pro racing circuit.

The Carol Henson ‘Warlock’ Camaro is ZL-1 number #56

The Fan Mellott Camaro ‘Friends and Neighbors’ was the ex Bresee Chevrolet Yenko 427 Camaro drag car.

Out of the eight car field there was one ZL-1 Camaro and one Yenko Camaro

Warlock was discovered several years ago. After 40+ years on the dragstrip, much reconstruction needed.

Original engine block was sold at a speed shop auction 2012. Discussed on the site but mis-identified as #54.

Carol was a hot mama! And good driver too. I wonder how many women can drive a stick shift these days?

Not many, most of us have not been buying them.
