Default '69 #s Z/28, MacNeish Cert

Nice looking '69, originally Fathom Green according to the MacNeish certificate.

I have to say, this is probably the cleanest '69 Van Nuys pad stamp I have seen. I've owned a few DZ blocks from Los Angeles builds and each of them had a partial VIN that had at least one mismatched number font. This one is textbook perfect.

Initially I thought this was a different car entirely--there is a very similar green-to-maroon Z that has been on Facebook marketplace in Chicago for a few months, also Macneisch certifed original engine.

Wonder how much the colour change hurts it's value?

Looks a lot better than when it was on BAT. Grill painted and rallys installed. A few guys were insisting VIN restamp during the auction.

Trans/Engine Vin stampings appear slightly different/need inspection/comparisons.
McJerry Certificate notes Original Drivetrain but report pages w/ details not shown also, included info descriptions note Trans + Rear as Original but Engine #’s Matching?

I hate when they don't include the appraisal document.
Drivetrain stamps are good, I'm not seeing an issue.

I think the color change actually benefits resale - mainly because of the original 721 interior.

I know someone looking for a 69 Camaro, can someone make a guess as to what this car is worth?

Somewhere between $72k and $110k.
It did not sell at $72k on BAT.

They have made some improvements. I would insist on seeing Jerry's full report.

Not many original power train Zs available, even with a color change. At least they didn't swap the tag trying to make it look like it came in the current color and interior.

Please understand, I am not in the market and am not an expert on pricing, but would think $90k would be fair. Maybe even $95. I may be full of it.
