Bill, I'd love to make it, but I don't think I'll have the car ready by that time. The wipers, blower motor and horn are not functioning at this time. Also, the original fuel pump has a bit of a leak, so that is coming off this weekend.

Steve, if I can get the LT1 to the Frisco, TX for the Regional I’ll get it up to MCCAN. It has its Bloomington Benchmark so I just need a top-flight to bring it to Rosemont.

WOW, Congratulations!

I had that car pulled up on my eBay favorites.

I’m hoping to see detail photos of this super low mile Corvette Survivor after your done sorting it out.

Super Cool.

Thanks for sharing and waiting for more.

Chris.

Congrats Tim! Can't wait to see the car personally. Looks like a great car to campaign. Like others I had saved it in my favorites too. Glad if found its way into the right hands.

IT will be a bowtie car for sure...
Extremely nice piece, I cannot believe I missed it being on the market, although I had been trying to get a 9k mile 70 LT1 into a guys hands so I had been answering his questions.
Tim you may know about the paint work on C3's --- I thought my car had paint work because there was a little overspray on the tail lamp lense which I cleaned off. Then at the NCRS regionals I was informed that most C3's were touched up prior to leaving St Louis and that often there found overspray on the edge of the tail lamp lenses and around the front top edge of the doors. I said yea I removed it from the lenses...

I would love to see a few photos of the original exhaust, does it have crimped bends or are they smooth?

Lots of C3's have overspray on the bumper bolts. It's often cleaned off because folks don't realize the factory did touch up the paint on C3s often. This Steel Cities Gray car has no touch up that I can see, it's a great original paint car.

Here's a quick shot of the exhaust, I can get better ones if that will help. The pipes are definitely crimped.
